1 Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Chef Amí (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Chef Amí.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2 Description of service
Chef Amí is an AI-powered meal planning application that helps users plan dinners, discover recipes, and reduce daily decision fatigue around food. The Service is accessible via web browser and iOS/Android apps.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
3 Accounts & eligibility
To use Chef Amí, you must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at hello@mychefami.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4 Membership & billing
Subscription plans
Chef Amí offers paid membership tiers including lifetime founding memberships and a monthly subscription. Current pricing is displayed on our pricing page. Prices are in USD and subject to applicable taxes.
Billing & renewals
Monthly memberships automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

5 Content & AI recipes
Chef Amí uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized meal plans and recipes. You understand and agree that:
- AI-generated recipes are suggestions, not professional nutritional or medical advice
- You should verify ingredients against any allergies, dietary restrictions, or health conditions
- We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific needs
- Anonymized, aggregated recipe data may be used to improve our AI models and recommendations
6 Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service
- Use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal usage
- Share or resell access to your account
- Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service
- Use the Service to generate content for commercial redistribution without our written permission
7 Intellectual property
All content, software, design, and branding associated with Chef Amí — including our name, logo, and user interface — are owned by Chef Amí or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your membership grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial meal planning purposes only.
8 Disclaimers
Chef Amí is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Chef Amí is not a medical, nutritional, or dietary service. AI-generated meal plans and recipes are for general convenience and inspiration only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for dietary needs related to medical conditions, pregnancy, or specific health goals.
9 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chef Amí shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to Chef Amí in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10 Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.
11 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bexar County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
