When you create a Chef Amí account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form). If you pay for a membership, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your billing details — we never see or store your full card number.

To personalize your meal plans we collect information you voluntarily provide: dietary restrictions, food preferences, household size, cooking skill level, and budget range. You can update or delete this at any time.
Usage data
We collect information about how you interact with the app — recipes saved, meal plans generated, features used, and session timing. This helps us improve the product.
Device & technical data
We automatically collect your device type, operating system, browser type, IP address, and app version.
2 How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Chef Amí service
- Generate personalized meal plans and recipe suggestions

Every AI-generated recipe you interact with may be saved to our proprietary recipe database to improve recommendations over time.
