Why not just ask a chatbot what to cook?
Chef Amí is built only for cooking. You tell it your allergies, your tastes, how much time you have and who you're feeding one time, and it remembers. Your saved recipes sit in one library, so you never scroll back through a chat to find the one dinner the kids finished. And the day's dinner arrives as a text, with nothing for you to set up.
How do I get started?
Download Chef Amí from the App Store or Google Play and create an account. You add a card to start your 14-day free trial, and if you cancel before day 14 you pay nothing. A short preference setup (about 2 minutes) gets your first dinner suggestion ready, and it's where you turn on Daily Dinner Texts. You can also chat with Amí in your browser first to get a feel for it, though the daily texts live in the app.

How do the Daily Dinner Texts work?
Turn on Daily Dinner Texts in the app, set your preferences once, and choose the days and the time you want your text. Every day, tonight's dinner shows up in your messages with the full recipe a tap away. No app to open, no decisions to make.
Is Chef Amí available on Android?
Chef Amí is on iPhone and Android, and Daily Dinner Texts work on both. Get it on the App Store or Google Play.
How does Amí decide what's for dinner?
You have a conversation with Amí. Tell it what ingredients you have, how much energy you have tonight, and what your family will actually eat. Amí gives you one specific dinner idea, not a list of 47 options. If you don't love it, just say so and it'll suggest something else.
The more you use it, the better it gets at understanding your family's tastes.
Can it handle dietary restrictions and allergies?
Yes. This is core to what Chef Amí does. Set your dietary needs once and every suggestion is already filtered for your family. Supported restrictions include: vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, low-carb, Paleo, Whole30, halal, and more.

Does Chef Amí provide full recipes with steps?
Yes. Every dinner suggestion includes full recipe steps, ingredient quantities, and timing. The free preview gives you the full experience in your browser, and members keep complete recipe access for $29.99 a quarter or $99 a year.
Will it suggest meals based on what I already have at home?
That's one of its best features. Just tell Amí what's in your fridge or pantry and it will build a suggestion around what you already have. No special grocery trips required.
How much does the membership cost?
One simple membership, two billing options: $29.99 a quarter, or $99 for the year. Both unlock the full experience, and both can be cancelled anytime.
Either way, you start free in your browser first, with no account and nothing to download. You only join the membership once Chef Amí has earned a place in your week.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Account Settings → Membership → Cancel Subscription. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees, no hoops.
What is your refund policy?
Since you start your trial through the App Store or Google Play, refunds for that purchase are handled by Apple or Google directly, not by me. See the full Refund Policy for how to request one. For anything else, email me at hello@mychefami.com.
Will the membership price go up?
Your rate is locked for as long as your membership stays active. If I ever change pricing, it applies to new members, not to you. And every new feature I ship is included at no extra charge.
Does Chef Amí sell my data?
No. I do not sell your personal information to third parties and I don't use your data for advertising. I collect only what's needed to run the app and improve your experience. Read the full Privacy Policy.
How does Chef Amí use my conversations?
Recipes from your sessions may be saved without your name to help improve recommendations. Your individual conversations and preferences remain private to your account.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Email hello@mychefami.com with "Delete my account" in the subject line and I'll remove your account and personal data within 30 days.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot password" and enter your email address. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.
